Ice Cream Social
The Ice Cream Social occurs at or near the beginning of the school year to give parents and students the opportunity to talk with teachers and staff and meet with old and new friends and classmates in a relaxed environment. This year we had the social in conjunction with the Open House, and it was a lot of fun!

Winter Social
This year PTO hosted a Gingerbread Social on December 1st, 2011, full of winter fun and some seasonal giving. Click here for the re-cap.
Sock Hop
Come enjoy dinner and free root beer floats and dance to 50s music! This event is held in early May and is always lots of family fun! For a recap of the 2012 Sock Hop click here.
Shepardson Family Movie Nights
With the PTO's purchase of a giant screen for the gym, we have started Family Movie Nights!
Popcorn is 25 cents and water will be provided. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and pillows and a picnic dinner if you wish. (Please bring drinks in closed containers to help control spills.) A limited number of chairs will be provided. Click here for the SMURFS flyer.

5th Grade Bash
A send-off to middle school for our 5th graders.

A graduation-like ceremony for our students leaving Elementary Schools and entering Middle School.

Read-A-Thon

Carnival
The carnival is held in the Spring. Each classroom hosts a carnival game which is loads of fun for the students. Each classroom prepares a themed basket which is auctioned off at the Carnival.
Cartridges for Kids
Congratulations to Mrs. Harding's 1st Grade Class for collecting the mores recyclables for the Cartridges for Kids program in 2012. They win an extra PE class with Mr. Kantor!

Shepardson receives a donation for collected Morning Fresh Dairy milk caps.
Scholastic Book Fair
